- How do you book on the official website?
On our homepage you will find a section called 'Book now'. By selecting the dates you are interested in, you will be shown available room types, board basis and prices.
Select your desired check-in and check-out dates.
Number of Guests:
Indicate the amount of adults on the reservation. The maximum amount of guests allowed in a room is 3 (depending on the selected room type).
Once you have selected dates and number of guests, the suitable/available room types will be shown. Just choose the one that best suits your needs.
Board basis and Offers:
At GOLD you are given the choice between self catering, so you can eat out in the area or in your room from the Food to Go menu, or breakfast which is served from 8am to 12pm so there's no need to get up early!
Packages and Extras:
Along with your reservation, you may select a number of extra services and packages such as the welcome packages and much more.
Once you have clicked on 'Book now', it is important that you review the contact details you have provided, in case that we need to contact you before your arrival.
Once all the fields have been filled in, you can click on the 'Confirm Booking' button to complete your booking. A window will appear indicating that your booking has been successfully made giving you the option to print out your confirmation straight away, or send it to you via email and print it from there.
In order to make a reservation you must provide a credit or debit card number. Depending on the rate you have selected you might be charged a non refundable 50% deposit at the time of your booking (semi-flexible rate) and the rest upon arrival at the hotel. In case of a flexible rate you will be charged the full amount upon arrival at the hotel. Please note that the credit card will only be charged in case of no-show or no cancellation of the reservation 24 hours before your stay.
- What is included in each board basis?
At GOLD you may choose between the accommodation-only option so you can eat out in the area, or you may include the breakfast plan to enjoy a large breakfast that is served from 8.00 am to 12.00 pm so you don't have to get up early.
- Is it possible to change the booked board basis?
Yes, it is possible to have your booked board basis changed to remove/add breakfast to your reservation. If you decide to change your plan before your arrival, you will pay a 8,50€ supplement per night per person. You may also book it once you have checked in for a 10,50€ supplement per night per person and if you just want to have it on a single day, the price is 14€ per person.
- Where can I receive more information of my booking?
After finishing the booking process you will be sent an email with all the details of your booking and a confirmation number. You may contact our reservations department anytime to have any questions claryfied that might come up by providing your confirmation number. - Are there any restrictions in terms of minimum nights at the hotel?
Yes, the minimum stay may vary depending on dates and availability.
- Is it possible to change or cancel my booking?
Yes, but it depends on your booking rate. If you have booked a flexible rate, you may cancel free of charge up to 24 hours prior to arrival. If you have booked a non-refundable rate, the 50% or 30% deposit you paid upon booking is non refundable.

- I have a discount code, how do I apply it?
To benefit from offers and promotions you need to enter the code we provided you when you started the booking process.
Just enter the arrival and departure dates on the booking bar and enter the promo code on the 'promo code' field. By clicking on “check availability” you will automatically be forwarded to the rooms and rates section where you will see the discount applied. Continue as usual with the reservation by selecting the room type and board basis.
- What is the maximum number of guests per room?
The maximum occupancy per room is two people. Some room categories also allow up to 3 people.
On the right side of the room type selector you will see the maximum number of people that can be accommodated in a room.
- From what age on can I stay at the hotel ?
GOLD by Marina is an adult-only hotel. You can stay at GOLD from 18 years onwards.
- What is the Be My Guest programme about, how do I subscribe, and how do I get my discount applied?
Once you visit our homepage, you will see a pop up window on the top right corner that invites you to register and receive our latest news and exclusive discounts. You may register in three ways:

- Can I book the late check out and is there any extra cost?
Yes, you may request a late check out until 6pm at the front desk for a 40€ fee per room.
- Can I make any changes or add services once I have made the reservation?
Yes, you can modify and add services even if you already have a booking with us.

- Does the last day of my booking include breakfast?
Yes, if you booked the bed and breakfast option, breakfast is included on your day of departure. Please note that breakfast is not included on the day of arrival as check-in officially starts at 2pm. If you leave very early the day of your check out, your can order cold breakfast in advance at reception ( no extra charge).
- At what time can I enter the room and what time should I leave it free?
The official check-in time is 2pm. However, if you let us know your scheduled arrival time in advance, we will do our best to give you a room as soon as possible.
Check-out time is 12pm. If you want to stay longer in your room on the day of your departure, you can contact reception during your stay to request a late-check out for an extra fee.
- Are there any parking options?
Yes, the hotel has its own outdoor car park ( upon availability). There is no charge and it is not video-monitored.
- Is there wifi in the hotel?
Yes, the hotel has free Wi-Fi throughout the whole hotel and in the rooms.
- How can I get from the aiport to the hotel?
To get from the airport to GOLD you have several options.
We offer private transfers that cost 41€ each way for up to 3 people and in case of 4 people a charge of 51€. When travelling as a group special fares apply which you can request by contacting reception. Below are some:
up to 6 people 58€, up to 10 people 69€ and up to 15 people 75€ each way
If you would like to make a transfer reservation contact our reception team (email@example.com) by informing them of your arrival time, full names of all passangers and flight number.
The second option is to take public bus no. 66 and get off at the bus stop on "Avenida de Bonn". Hereyou can check the schedules of buses that go from the airport to GOLD.
- What does the room equipment consist of?
All rooms are equipped with a safe, a kitchen with coffee and tea kettle and toaster as well as amenities, television with international channels, hairdryer, air conditioning, iron and ironing board upon request.
- Is there a safe in the room and what is the charge?
Yes, all rooms are equipped with a safety deposit box that costs 4€ per day.
- Is it allowed to smoke in the rooms?
Please note that smoking is not allowed in any of the rooms. Upon the new regulations of the Government it is not allowed any longer to smoke in any public areas nor on the terraces of the hotel.
- Are there any options for celiacs, allergies or vegetarians at GOLD's bars and restaurants?
We can prepare whatever you need. We can adapt the plan for celiacs, vegetarians and people with other dietary restrictions.

No, pets are not allowed at GOLD :( Your pet will also need a few days of vacation from its owners ;-)

You can rent out a car directly at the hotel reception. If you are at least 21 and have held a driver's license for more than 2 years, you can rent it from 34€ per day.
- What events will be held during my stay?

- Is there a bike rental service at the hotel?
You can rent both mountain bikes and e-bikes directly from the hotel. The price for every 30 min is 1€ and 9€ for 24 h rental.

The hotel has a total of 2 swimming pools: the main pool with turquoise sun loungers and their parasols, and the Cabana pool with Balinese beds. In addition, you also have the Tropic Attic to enjoy from above the sun, a warm moment in the sauna or a refreshing soak in the jacuzzi or in the eco shower.

In order to make you feel just as safe as at home during your holiday, we updated here relevant measures and recent news regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Are there any excursions organized by the hotel?
GOLD offers several options to book excursions directly from the hotel so you don't have to worry about organizing anything before or during your vacation. Ask at the front desk about the different excursion options and book them directly there.
- Are the pools heated?
Yes, both pools at GOLD are heated.
- Are there pool towels available and do I have to pay any deposit?
Yes, you will find pool/beach towels in your room on arrival and you will get fresh ones at no extra charge from the life guard.
- What are the pool opening times?
You can enjoy the pools from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm. The lifeguard is on schedule from 11 am to 5pm.
